Hotel Warszawa Art Fair (HWAF), co-founded by Gunia Nowik Gallery, is a pioneering event in Poland's contemporary art scene, marking the first time a fair of this nature has been hosted within a hotel. Set against the backdrop of Warsaw’s historic Prudential building—now Hotel Warszawa—HWAF offers a unique platform where galleries, collectors, curators, and art enthusiasts can converge in an intimate, yet dynamic setting. 

Each gallery transforms a hotel room into an exhibition space, offering carefully curated shows that immerse visitors in an unparalleled art experience. This format not only draws inspiration from iconic hotel art fairs like the Gramercy International Art Fair in New York and the Felix Art Fair in Los Angeles, but it also sets a precedent in Poland for the intersection of art, history, and architecture.

Gunia Nowik Gallery, alongside our esteemed collaborators from LETO and Polana Institute, and in partnership with the Likus Hotel and Restaurant Group, has crafted HWAF to be more than just an art fair. It is a cultural event that fosters dialogues between the Polish and international art communities, offering a rich program of curatorial tours, VIP engagements, and public interactions.

The inaugural edition in 2022 exceeded all expectations, attracting thousands of visitors, who were captivated by the innovative presentations from twenty leading Polish galleries. The success of the first edition laid the groundwork for an expanded and more diverse 2023 fair, which include international galleries and an enriched program of accompanying events.

With each edition, HWAF continues to evolve, maintaining its commitment to excellence and innovation. Through our involvement, Gunia Nowik Gallery remains dedicated to advancing the fair's mission of creating a vibrant and inclusive space for contemporary art, fostering connections between artists, galleries, and audiences both in Poland and internationally.
